70cm Repeater – 444.55+ pl151.4

General Information

The 444.55 machine went on the air fall of 2011. It is currently located at the residence of KD0EAV. Plans are to move the machine to a downtown location that will serve southern Platte County.

Repeater is computer controlled using Asterisk from Allstar Link. This enables exceptional programming flexiblity as well as limitless linking via the Internet and phone lines. Node has access to inbound (reverse) autopatch and outbound autopatch for PSTN interoperability. Node is routinely connected to the *MISSOURI* conference to provide as a gateway to statewide activities.

Coverage Area

Current coverage is about 5 miles around I-29 and Barry Road.
Anticipated coverage will be about 25 miles from downtown Kansas City, MO.
