70cm Repeater – 444.05+ pl151.4

General Information

The 444.05 machine went on the air February of 2009. It has been moved between various locations and is currently located at the residence of KD0EAV. The downtown location has been abonded due to continued antenna issues. A more northerly location is being saught that will better server southern Platte County.

Repeater is computer controlled using Asterisk from Allstar Link. This enables exceptional programming flexiblity as well as limitless linking via the Internet and phone lines. Node has access to inbound (reverse) autopatch and outbound autopatch for PSTN interoperability. Node is routinely connected to the *MISSOURI* conference to provide as a gateway to statewide activities.

Coverage Area

The machine's mobile coverage is generally about 5 miles around the area of Barry Road and I-29. Fixed coverage is about 10+ miles.
